Quantum Rehab

Why the Jazzy Carbon Was My Best Ally During Surgery and Recovery

by Marie Pontini

Going to a surgery is something that is usually very demanding on our body and exhausting.

Hospitals can be quite big, and going there means that we must cover a great distance of walk.

As I went for my surgery, I chose to go with my Jazzy carbon power wheelchair and it was the perfect alternative to my regular Stretto Edge 3.0 Quantum Rehab Canada.

On this occasion, its main advantage was the manual option. Once we put it on manual, the medical staff can handle it as a manual wheelchair and they don't need to worry about how to use the joystick.

While I was recovering in bed, the wheelchair didn't take too much space in my hospital room because it could be folded up in a corner.

After the surgery, when came the time to go back home, I was already depleted of energy. The Jazzy allowed me to be independent and able to go everywhere in the hospital.

It was exactly what I needed and my Jazzy Carbon was definitely my best ally during this time in hospital.

The fact that it's a very light machine allowed me to return back home using the regular vehicle of my friend and put it in her trunk, instead of waiting for a para-transit adapted minivan.

Independence is a need everyone has and we will all face situations one day or another, where we need some help to manage, and having the right tools for that, is what can make a huge difference in our lives. Jazzy Carbon is one of those tools.
